As we bid adieu to 2010,
the staff fondly remembers patrons who will no longer walk through the Library's doors. We are grateful to have known them. They enriched our lives and the lives of so many in our community.Flora Rubio Acosta

I read in the Herald's Obit section that Mrs Bray had a journal: Scratching the Surface. Although I no longer live in CA is it possible to obtain a copy of her journal to read?

Hello Charlene,
Yes, the PG Library has received a copy of Mrs. Bray's autobiography. We are cataloging it, and it will be ready for circulation on Saturday, January 22nd. Anyone with a Monterey or Pacific Grove Library card may check it out.
Our Library does lend books to other libraries, (for their patrons), via Inter Library Loan. However, we do not loan our new books until one year after we have received them. This title will be available for ILL in 2012.
I do not know if the family has additional copies available for purchase. You would need to contact them directly.
Thank you for your interest in Mrs. Bray and the PG Library.
-Pamela
